Much research has been done on the power of gratitude.  But I must say I’ve never been one for gratitude lists.

Just hearing the word gratitude makes me shudder a little inside as I have flashbacks to being a young child and being told “you should be grateful….”

So, I reframe gratitude to appreciation.

Small reminders that life doesn’t totally suck, can be profound when times are tough.

If like gratitude, appreciation also makes you want to throw up in your mouth a little, I encourage you to focus on things that make you a little less stabby.

Take a moment and make a list of ALL the things that make you a little less stabby today.  Be bold and share a few in the comments below.
